I am a senior taking up a BS Environmental Science in Ateneo De Manila University
Experience
I tutored before for Science, History and Math and I have also facilitated lectures for high school students wherein their leadership skills are improved and honed. I want to be a tutor because I do think that I can cater well to the specific needs of the student who I'm going to teach, allowing him/her to learn fast and with ease. Each one of us learn and work in different ways, and considering the study habits, weaknesses and strengths of the student, I'll be able to tap him/her into maximizing his/her learning. (For example, some students learn more through visuals, some through auditory/lecture style and some through kinesthetic/interactive means) I won't just tutor, I'll teach, nurture, and improve the learning skills of the student. I've also experienced being tutored several times and I know what works and what doesn't when it comes to tutoring students. I've learned techniques in memorizing and remembering what I study as well as mental math and I plan to share this to whoever I'm going to tutor if necessary.

Hobbies
I'm a very outgoing person who has a fascination with travelling and adventure. I love music, movies, literature, philosophy and everything that has got to do with art. I also love science and the ocean and I'm pretty much set on becoming a marine biologist. I love kids and I have had a lot of experience teaching and engaging with them which would mean that it would be easy for me to tutor and handle children. I know how to be firm when necessary and I adapt well in different kinds of situations. If you need a tutor, I'm the one for it :)
