I worked for 2 years as a grade school English teacher and did private tutorials thereafter. I was awarded the Best Demonstration Teacher during my stint, and got 99% in the NCEE (now SAT), and 95% in my college entrance exam. To enhance my communication skills, I underwent call center trainings, after which I landed a job in one of the centers, and in Dubai as a Customer Service Representative/Sales Coordinator, 2 years after. Presently,I teach English as a second language to foreign nationals(mostly Arabic), here in Manila, but I do private tutorials in my spare time. Apart from the extra income, I believe that teaching and learning the language is a non-stop process.
