No tutoring experience yet but I did pass GCMA in 2 weeks (commonly lasts 9 weeks), it's an assessment accredited by TESDA that tests your ability in all aspect of the English language. I want to be a tutor because I want to have an extra income, I have a full time job as a technical support agent for a UK company. I live by my own and at the moment, what I earn is just enough to get by. I need to save up for my future. I am very patient and works in a precise manner, I am friendly but I make sure we learn something at the end of the day. I will not treat you like a kid because I believe we all have knowledge in different aspects in life.
