Experience
My first year of teaching was in a secondary school (high school)for one year. That was in 1993. I taught Values Education then. In 1997, I started teaching College. Since I majored in Philosophy, I taught subjects under that discipline such as Philosophical Anthropology, Ethics, Aesthetics, Humanities and Logic. I finished my Masters' Degree in Philosophy in 2005. I also taught for some time English, particularly Oral and Written Communication. I am an IELTS (International English Language Testing System) with a 7.5 as the overall band score. My tutoring experience has been with some students of mine who have difficulty in my subjects in Philosophy. However, I have mentored them too with other subjects that they had difficulty with, particularly English, which I know I am good at. Seminars that I have attended were about test construction, lesson plan making, classroom management and the like. Presently, I'm very much involved with e-learning or on-line instruction using a learning management system (LMS) called MOODLE. I've been using this system for over 3 years now and I found this very helpful particularly in personal mentoring/tutoring.

Hobbies
I love movies, which is the main tool that I use for instruction. Movies have been very useful for me particularly in teaching English and Philosophy since they bring you to an experience that involve most of the learners' senses. A good movie is very engaging and it brings about certain issues about life that can be discussed openly and without judgment. I make students watch a lot of movies in my classes and they love it.
