Experience

It was 2003 when I technically started tutoring. My 6th grade adviser appointed me as a peer-facilitator to helping fellow 6th graders on their Math and Science subjects so they can graduate on time. This ministry continued to when I entered high school (2004) teaching Math and Science subjects. Tutoring is just one of my official co-curricular activities in the campus. Others include active participation in our speech society (extemporaneous speaking, oration, storytelling, and speech choir), school organ (literary and sports writing, and photojournalism) and research society. This student community served as my learning nests until I graduated. When I entered college (2008), I was given the privilege to be a student facilitator of the campus being chosen as the first Provincial Gender Advocate from our campus. On my second year, I was officially endorsed by the Office of the Student Services as a Student Facilitator for Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS) under the National Service Training Program (NSTP). I taught 6-8 classes per semester for 3 academic years. On my 4th & 5th year, I also held training sessions for student leaders for 8 academic organizations and 4 non-academic organizations being part of my agenda as the campus student council president. On my free days, I also tutored some high school students for extra income. Moreover, I trained high school speech choir for municipal and provincial speech choir competition. At present, I am taking Music. It is my motivation why I want to continue tutoring kids and teens as this job gives me a time- flexible yet financially-compensating source of income, enabling me to support my needs. I can say that I really loved teaching since the day I became a Department of Science and Technology Scholar for 6 year. Through this, I am expressing my gratitude to those who supported me as I pursue further education.

Hobbies

Playing Scrabble and Word Factory is the most loved hobby of mine. When I'm free, I still do non-professional photography particularly on nature and micro subjects. I also love watching movies with my siblings. In moments of great inspiration, I write songs, poems, essays and speeches. And every vacation, I love to explore on music and photo editing tools and other computer softwares.
