I am currently studying Bachelor in English Education (JHS) at Philippine Normal University
Experience
I am currently handling 5 different tutees as of the moment which are: a kinder I student in all of her subjects, a grade 2 student in reading, a grade 5 student in reading, a Korean foreigner in conversational English and a British-Chinese foreigner in Tagalog. I choose the path of teaching because I want to inspire my students to learn more and motivate them to enjoy studying. I am more engaged to teach reading because I want to share the beautiful experience I've found in reading. As a child, reading was the most difficult task for me since I grew up independently in terms of studying since my mother left me at the age of 7 and I have to do things my own for me and my siblings. I find it hard to decode the symbols and how does it work altogether until one of my teachers eagerly teach to read after all of her classes. I couldn't forget that teacher of mine and like her, I want to help my students to engage in learning because for me, opening books means opening doors to different adventures.
