I obtained my Masters Degree in Special Education from St. Joseph's College of Quezon City in 2017. For my bachelor's degree, I took up BS Nursing from the University of Santo Tomas.
Experience
I have been practicing as a Special Education Teacher and Reading Interventionist for the last 5 years. I am adept with various best-teaching practices (multi-sensory, direct, explicit, blended approach) that will particularly enhance the skills of students who have reading struggles, learning disabilities, attention-deficit hyperactive disorders, language difficulties, autism spectrum disorder, and intellectual developmental delay. While I can also do all-subject tutorials, I am now leaned into providing lessons that will develop study skills and comprehension of students that will enable them to achieve educational success. I also have been teaching English to students of different nationalities for 9 years now as my part time job. I am able to do group, face-to-face and online sessions in all of those teaching areas, I've mentioned above. I mainly handle children ages 4-16 years of age.
