Experience
I play the cello, piano and organ to ABRSM grade 8 distinction level, and have been teaching all three instruments on and off for several years. I graduated from the University of Nottingham with a first class degree in Music in 2013, and in 2014 I had the rare opportunity to teach cello, piano and lead ensembles in in Venezuela's renowned national music service, El Sistema. In general, I have a great deal of experience working with people of all ages (from age 2 to 50) in a professorial setting. I am also a native English speaker, and spend much of my spare time writing non-fiction and editing professional English writing. I have won several travel writing competitions, and am highly experienced in editing and proof-reading. Hobbies
In addition to playing cello and piano, solo and in ensembles, I love to read and write travel literature, explore new places and meet new people, go rock climbing, hiking, camping, skydiving, scuba-diving and travelling. I am also addicted to baking and cooking delicious vegan food, and love to experiment with new dishes. I really enjoy being active, but also never miss the chance to just chill out with a good book, some tea, cake and a film (I am English, after all). Most importantly, I'm a friendly guy, easy to get on with, and have a lot of experience teaching music and English.
