Education
MS Environmental Engineering at The University of Melbourne, Australia. BS Civil Engineering degree holder (Graduate) at Marinduque State College and passed the Civil Engineering Licensure exam just this May 2016 after graduating last April 2016. I am currently a Project Manager in a Government Agency in the Philippines and reviews project contracts and feasibility studies. I conduct technical, financial and commercial reviews.
Experience
I am so much passionate in teaching especially academic subjects since I am also teaching some of my colleagues in their subjects like Math and Science. My teaching experiences: 2015 (while still in College) - I was an English teacher for Austin, a Taiwanese businessman in the Philippines. By that time, I am not yet a private tutor here in UniversityTutor. I was residing in the province by that time and was conducting my tutorials via phone call or skype. Austin became my friend and we kept in touch even after our tutorial engagement. He was able to visit our island to experience its nature. I extended my help by touring him around. 2017 - Sato, a Japanese professional was my first student who knew me through UniversityTutor. He is a Digital Nomad and would love to improve his English pronunciation, therefore asked for my help in Conversational English. He also remained as a good friend of mine after the engagement. He is a fast learner and also loves to travel. Since then, I have received different inquiries about my teaching availability from different nationalities and age brackets. Many of them enjoyed the conversations I am giving to help them improve their writing and conversational english. So in 2018, I extended my tutorial services to music such as Ukulele Tutorial. Aaron, a Chinese kid who happened to spend his summer in the Philippines was my student in basic ukulele (beginner). His parents contacted me and eventually hired me for the summer. Aaron is a jolly kid, short tempered but is carefree. We share the same passion in Music and therefore we were able to compose songs. 2019: Now, I am currently a private tutor for a couple from Indonesia, Reynaldo and Dewi. I was actually hired by Reynaldo's company to teach Business English while involving his wife as I refresh their basic English. They are easy to teach and are improving a lot.
