Education
I am an MS Statistics student at the University of the Philippines Diliman. I obtained my BS Statistics degree in the same university with Latin Honors (Cum Laude). I am exposed to different mathematical systems and statistical methods as an undergraduate of BS Statistics program and I am considered to one of the major performers on our batch in terms of academics.
Experience
I received Cum Laude honors on my graduation from my BS Statistics degree. I have experience teaching and tutoring students from elementary to college level. I was always contacted by people to be their tutor. I have experienced to teach in RMC tutorial in Sta. Cruz, Laguna. I already finished all the math and statistics courses required in our curriculum. This includes Algebra, Trigonometry and Calculus under Mathematics domain and Probability Theory, Combinatorics, Sampling and Inference under Statistics. My UPG is 2.154 for the 2013 UPCAT Exam. When I am in grade 6 I got the first place in the District Quiz Bee for Science. I carried the name of San Juan Kalayaan Central School. When I am in Second Year High School in Pedro Guevara Memorial National High School, I got the third honors for the division qualifiers for MTAP. Division of Laguna. Also in this year, we got the first place in the UPLB Mathemascian V, together with my 2 other groupmates. In Third Year high school, I was the representative of our high school for the Chemistry Quiz bee. I was able to grab the 3rd Place in the division level of this contest. I also participated in the Philippine Mathematical Olympiad during my third year high school. When I am in fourth year high school I got the first place in Physics Quiz Bee school level, cluster level and division level. Furthermore, I receive the 6th place in the Regional level. Moreover, I am the representative of the University of The Philippines Diliman for the Philippine Statistics Quiz Bee last 2014. I got the Second Place in the regional level. I want to be a tutor because I want to sharpen my teaching skills and also to have a reason to study my past subjects. This also acts as my financial support for my everyday expenses in the University.
