I am a second year student in St. Scholastica's College, Manila, taking up Bachelor in Elementary Education major in Special Education.
Experience
It is my first time that I will be tutoring, but I had previously observed pre-schoolers and 1st grade students one-on-one for experience, voluntarily. I believe that expanding your knowledge about teaching through applying what you have learned inside the classroom is essential once I graduate. Simply just knowing the concepts and theories about education is not applicable once you started working. Because every child has their own way of learning, and that is why I wanted to start tutoring. Experience is a good way to learn. And I see the children as hope for the future, they each carry the light for a brighter world and success. I want to protect the dreams they hold, and teach them that by believing and having faith in their abilities and in their selves will make them strong to face any challenges ahead of them.
