Education
BSEd - English Language and Literature major. Currently in my 4th year, and handling two sections as a requirement for my on-campus teaching at The National Teachers College. I received a general average of B, and I'm one of the 46 trusted student teachers to handle a class at The National Teachers College.
Experience
My most previous tutoring job is for a cousin who has been struggling in Languages and Literature (both in English and Filipino), my aunt decided to ask for my time to teach his son for an hour or two, we have been handling classes for almost a year now, and his performance in standardized test has increased 25 percent. As an Education student, we are tasked to take various courses that involved management of learning - from Principles of Teaching up to continuous Field Study. Even in my major, we have been immersed to numerous subjects in teaching Language and Literature, providing flexibility within teaching several macro skills and criticism. I volunteered at ATD numerous times. We have handled classes in Pandacan and Manila North Cemetery for children who wanted to learn, but are financially incapable. This experience led to the idea that education is sought, even when the odds are against them. I excel in teaching reading and writing to primary and secondary students.
