BSc at Keele University, UK in Chemistry & Biology PhD at Liverpool University, UK in Chemistry & Biochemistry. My PhD was on the identity, analysis, synthesis of cancerous fungi living on old peanuts, and I solved all that.
Experience
I have been tutoring in chemistry for nearly 40 years, often to push good students with poor teachers into Medical Schools. Also Maths, Biology & Physics, for the same reason. We always did A level or IB, not the American system. I now live in Manila, Philippines, but I can teach by email etc. All is prepared. I also help dyslexic children, and those with mild autism, eg. Aspergers Syndrome. Those students who think they are not ever going to do any maths come to me and I fix them fast. That is always due to lazy teachers, lazy parents or lazy students, and often all three of those! I got a very high degree, but I never did an education course, because a good teacher only needs, energy, enthusiasm, animation and hard work. Nobody can teach you that. The PhD also did not help me to be a good teacher. I succeed by working hard and showing enthusiasm.
